Greetings Simmers, and welcome to my first ever Sims challenge! My name is Kelly, although I am am generally known around the forums as SwallowTail87 (or SwallowTail 87, on MTS2). I have been playing this challenge for the past five years, and I can honestly say that it's almost impossible for me to play the Sims anymore without an endless supply of Bass with Squash, unhygienic children, and sponge baths. I hope you will enjoy AToT as much as I have!
My inspiration for A Test of Time actually came through my ninth grade Global History class. I was deeply interested in the Roman Empire, and it struck me that I could make a Sims 2 Empire. After many exhaustive hours of typing, the challenge had evolved from just the Roman Empire to a Sims progression of human history. I am continually adding new stages and making changes, so feel free to send me your suggestions!
On a final note, I would like to acknowledge some of our earliest Timers: Anna, VT, Taliah, and Debs. They were the original four Simmers playing the challenge, and have arguably kept it alive. You can find their blogs here:
